Our Temp / freelance PR, Comms and digital recruitment offering is going from strength to strength so we’re looking to hire a dedicated freelancer PR recruiter to focus on building a lucrative desk across London and wider UK.

Based in a fun and collaborative office in Central Cambridge you will join a team of passionate Consultants recruiting for both agency and in-house PR, marketing, and digital roles.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a hot desk as the client relationships are already in place for you to capitalise on and deliver temp recruitment services across top tier agencies and in-house Communications teams.

If you are fed up of feeling over-managed and want to break away from corporate recruitment then this team will allow you to work as a true Consultant, on genuinely interesting and well-developed clients’ accounts in an environment where you are allowed to have your own personality, dress like an individual and lose the corporate red tape.

From graduate to board level, you will work with our truly impressive client list recruiting freelance and interim PR, digital and integrated communications professionals across all industry sectors from the top PR and digital consultancies based to leading blue chip organisations based in London and wider UK.

You will cover a broad range of disciplines that include marketing communications, digital, Social Media, Brand PR, Financial; Corporate communications, internal comms and public affairs

What we are looking for…

  • Some temp desk recruitment expertise – ideally 12 months or more
  • Will consider consultants who have worked on a split desk of perm or temp who wants specialise as a pure freelance/ interim consultant
  • Whilst some PR, Digital and comms experience or knowledge is desirable, we will consider recruiters from any discipline with the relevant temp expertise. We can provide the sector training and established client relationships you can capitalise on!
  • Naturally,you will be an excellent multitasker, used to turning around client requests within very short timeframes and be able to build good relationships with freelancers and clients alike.
  • A strong academic profile – ideally degree educated
  • A flair for building professional relationships and networking
  • A natural empathy for others and strong emotional intelligence
  • A sound knowledge of social media
  • Enjoys working in a team and would relish the chance to manage their own portfolio of clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commercially minded and results and rewards focused.
  • A talent for absorbing information quickly
  • A sense of humour with a friendly, integral approach
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • An eye for detail
  • An interest in researching the PR market place
