Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and avoid snacks – Make sure that you eat a healthy and balanced breakfast and lunch, this will not only give you the energy that you need for the day but will also ensure that you aren’t tempted to snack when your coworkers bring in unhealthy snacks and treats. If you do want to snack, it can be a good idea to always make sure that you have fruit on your desk.

Drink water – Make sure that you drink enough water throughout the day as dehydration can often cause you to feel lethargic. It can be a good idea to buy a large water bottle so you can track how much you are drinking.

Exercise – Find the time to exercise. Consider using one of your breaks or part of your dinner hour to get some steps in and go for a brisk walk. Going for a walk can not only help you to burn calories but can also help you to refocus. If you don’t have time to exercise during your work hours, you can try parking a little bit further away from your workplace so that you can get some steps in before and after work.

Stretch – Try and take a few times to stretch throughout the day. If you sit on the phone for most of the day for example to reduce the chance of neck pain and stiffness.

Distance your screen – Make sure that your screen is an arms distance away from you. If it is too close you can get headaches and eyestrain. Also make sure that you take regular breaks away from your screen.
