We have partnered with a leading private higher education establishment with one mission- to develop tomorrows leaders. They are seeking an experienced director of catering and events to join the team, to develop strategies, drive external sales and lead the way in a highly competitive market.

Stunning work environment in central London, offering flexible hybrid working (approx. 2 days a week office based).

The role:

Leading the team and working closely with the CCO, you will blend commercial acumen, customer centricity, the ability to leverage internal and external vendor relationships to profitably deliver outstanding experiences to clients (both internal and external).

With a strategic mindset you will develop growth strategies for the organisation, monitor industry/market trends and  capture demand to ensure an impeccable reputation within the industry. You will be the professional lead in all matters relating to the delivery of Student Catering, as well as Internal and External Events.

About you:

To be successful, you will have a background of successfully leading and managing a cross-functional catering and events team. You will have the ability to develop and implement effective and engaging sales strategies to drive forward reputation, sales and industry relationships.

Alongside your industry experience you will have strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the market, with exceptional communication and relationship management skills. In addition, you will have an entrepreneurial spirit, with a natural passion for all things food, hospitality and events.
