Marketing Officer- 6 month FTC

Premier are working with one of the leading higher education bodies in the UK to find a Marketing Officer to join their Marketing Student Admissions Team!
Working within a dynamic central Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in delivering multi-channel campaigns, managing campaign assets, and supporting lead generation and conversion activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience—particularly in digital and campaign delivery—to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
Campaign Delivery
- Assist with running integrated campaigns across digital, social media, search, display and print.
- Co-ordinate campaign assets, supporting content gathering, approvals and internal collaboration.
- Maintain campaign timelines and ensure activity runs smoothly.
- Support the creation of advertising copy and landing page content aligned with Imperial’s brand.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor campaign results using tools such as Google Analytics and UTM tracking.
- Contribute to regular reporting and insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Support A/B testing and analysis.
CRM & Lead Management
- Work with CRM colleagues to ensure accurate lead capture and segmentation.
- Assist in creating nurture workflows and email content.
- Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance.
Stakeholder & Supplier Liaison
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams across Marketing, Communications, ICT and academic departments.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Officer.
Market Research
- Support the collection and interpretation of audience insights via surveys, focus groups and analytics.
- Help translate findings into actionable campaign recommendations.
Resource & General Support
- Help monitor campaign budgets and financial records.
- Support Open Days and recruitment events (occasionally outside regular hours).
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- You MUST be available to start this contract- Likely December 1st
- Experience in the higher education sector is essential to ensure you can hit the ground running
- A degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Experience working in a marketing role, ideally involving campaign planning or digital advertising.
- Experience delivering and evaluating advertising campaigns.
- Strong copywriting skills for a range of platforms.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics and CRM systems.
