PR Manager – Trade Premium Drinks

Our client is one of the fastest growing independent alcoholic drinks company in the UK is looking to recruit a talented trade PR manager with relevant premium spirits expertise would be ideal!
With 12 artisanal distilleries, 2 craft breweries and 12 bars across the UK their core growth focus has been on creating innovative, diverse and exciting brands and experiences for consumers. The company’s mission is to be a lead incubator of brands with each demonstrating strong provenance, heritage and dedication to quality.
They currently producing the UK’s No. 1 premium gin, along with a number of other gin brands, they are the UK’s third largest gin producer.
With an extensive portfolio featuring rum, whiskey, and vodka brands, as well as artisan beers, they are continuing to expand through unique selling points and leading developing trends.
In addition to the UK, the company has a fast growing international business. Their products are present in over 100 countries around the world. The company has offices and operates its own distribution network in Australia, China, Russia, Thailand, South Africa and the United States.
This is an exciting time to join as they are also positively “experiencing huge development and growth as a business” so their model and reputation will only get stronger and more powerful during this growth phase.
Reporting directly into the Managing Director and you will be part of a 15-strong brands and marketing team so you really know what you’re doing is having a positive impact and you see the results in such a close tight knit team.
The role will be based in Central London with occasional visits to their regional offices and distillery in the northwest.
- 4-5 years relevant trade drinks (wines and spirits) industry ideally gained within an agency or in-house comms team.
- Strong trade drinks experience as well as some national media contacts with relevant editors
- The role is primarily traditional PR with 20/30% social and influencer management focused.
- Ability to write strong and engaging press releases and then sell in to publications.
- Spirits industry experience is essential (beer and wine would be an advantage, but not critical)
