Are you at the very start of your PR career and looking for an Account Executive role where you can get stuck into genuinely varied work?
We’re working with an award-winning independent creative agency that brings together PR, social, influencer, advertising and creative under one roof.
They’re looking for an Account Executive to join their PR team – and this is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 3–9 months of PR internship experience, or a current JAE who’s ready to take that next step.
What makes the role interesting?
The agency works across a really varied mix of consumer, corporate and trade communications, meaning you won’t be pigeonholed into one area of PR early on.
You could be working on everything from consumer campaigns, media relations and influencer activity through to corporate communications, thought leadership and trade media.
The client mix spans some brilliant household and growing brands across music, hospitality, food & drink, travel, retail and business, giving you plenty of opportunity to learn.
You’ll be supporting the wider team across:
- Consumer media relations and press office
- Creative PR campaigns and brand activations
- Influencer and creator relations
- Building media and influencer lists
- Researching journalists, trends and story opportunities
- Drafting pitches, press releases and PR materials
- Supporting corporate and trade media outreach
- Thought leadership and executive profiling
- Reactive newsjacking and opinion-led content
- Events, coverage monitoring and campaign reporting
You’ll be learning from and working alongside experienced PR professionals, rather than being expected to lead accounts or manage clients from day one.
What are they looking for?
You’ll ideally have:
- 3–9 months' PR internship experience, or experience working at JAE level
- Some exposure to consumer, corporate, lifestyle or integrated PR
- Strong writing and communication skills
- A genuine interest in brands, business, media, influencers and current affairs
- A proactive, curious and organised approach
- Plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Why this role?
This is a great opportunity to build a really rounded PR skill set early in your career.
You’ll get exposure to both consumer and corporate PR, alongside social, influencer and creative specialists, giving you a much broader understanding of how integrated campaigns come together.
If you’ve had your first taste of agency PR and are now looking for a proper AE role where you can work on great brands, learn from a strong team and have plenty of room to progress, this could be a really exciting next step.
