Account Manager/Senior - Property, Political & Stakeholder Communications

£38,000–£48,000 + benefits | Central London | AM–SAM level

We’re working with a growing specialist communications consultancy advising major developers, housebuilders, land promoters, infrastructure providers and institutional investors on complex, high-profile projects across the UK.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 2–4 years’ experience who has a strong grounding in political and stakeholder engagement, but doesn’t want to be pigeonholed into one area. You’ll broaden your experience across public affairs, corporate communications, media, reputation and consultation, while taking genuine ownership of clients and projects.

Why this role?
  • Work on major residential, commercial, mixed-use, regeneration and infrastructure projects
  • Political & stakeholder engagement sits at the heart of the role
  • Engage with local authorities, politicians, communities and other influential stakeholders
  • Exposure to both local and central government
  • Go beyond traditional planning consultation into political engagement, grassroots campaigning and strategic advisory
  • Build your corporate communications and media relations experience alongside your PA work
  • Advise clients on the wider political, reputational and business issues affecting their projects
  • Take real day-to-day ownership of client relationships and project delivery
  • Develop strategic recommendations rather than simply executing someone else’s plan
  • Contribute to networking and new business as your commercial experience grows
What’s on offer?
  • £38,000–£48,000 + benefits, depending on experience
  • Level tailored from Account Manager through to Senior Account Manager
  • Account Director is the clear next step
  • An ambitious, growing specialist consultancy where your contribution will be visible
  • Broad exposure across PA, stakeholder, corporate, media, digital and campaigns
  • High-quality work with major organisations across the built environment
  • The opportunity to develop into a genuinely rounded strategic communications adviser
What we’re looking for
You’ll have 2–4 years’ relevant experience, with strong political and stakeholder engagement experience essential, a good understanding of local government and ideally exposure to property, planning, development or the wider built environment.

You’ll also bring some corporate communications and press/media experience, strong writing skills and the confidence to manage clients and projects with increasing independence.
