Job Description: As a Communications Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing client accounts on a monthly basis, cultivating relationships with key media contacts, and supporting the development of strategic proposals. Collaboration with senior team members, adept handling of multiple projects, and effective communication are crucial aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful month-to-month delivery of communication campaigns for clients.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and media, providing valuable advice and support.
  • Cultivate a network of journalists and stakeholders to facilitate optimal opportunities for clients and new business growth.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to drive new business ventures.

Responsibilities: Managing Clients:

  • Collaborate closely with team members to address client requests promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in client reporting, reviewing monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) and project-based progress reports.
  • Draft and pitch press releases and story ideas to various media outlets across print, broadcast, and online platforms.

Building Relationships:

  • Foster relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure creative and impactful coverage for clients.
  • Act as the daily point of contact for media contacts.

Coaching and Development:

  • Support junior team members, offering career guidance and professional development support to enhance their work quality.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and welcome feedback on personal performance.

Marketing and New Business:

  • Utilize existing networks and establish new relationships to identify communication challenges and opportunities.
  • Expand existing client accounts by building rapport with stakeholders and leveraging colleagues' expertise.
  • Contribute to new business pitches and brainstorming sessions.
  • Assist in implementing research and marketing initiatives.
