Junior Creative - Art Director

Location: Central London
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Working Pattern: 4 days onsite (Tuesday–Friday)

I’m working with a fast-growing, performance-led marketing agency that partners with some of the world’s most ambitious brands across fintech, consumer apps, ecommerce, gaming, and B2B.

They are now looking for a Junior Creative (Art Direction / Visual Design) to join their creative team and support the production of high-performing, platform-native visual content.

Overview of the Role

This role is ideal for a visually driven creative who understands how content behaves across digital platforms and what makes people stop scrolling.

You will work across a wide range of outputs including paid social creative, static ads, short-form video assets, landing page design, and broader campaign visuals. The role combines concepting, design, and fast-turn production, with a strong emphasis on performance and cultural relevance.

You’ll be supported by senior creatives, but expected to bring strong visual instincts, ideas, and the ability to execute quickly from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create platform-native visual assets across paid social, static ads, carousels, landing pages, email, and short-form video content
  • Contribute to creative ideation sessions with visual references, design thinking, and conceptual direction
  • Translate briefs and strategies into engaging, high-performing visual creative
  • Develop storyboards, moodboards, visual systems, and art direction references for campaigns
  • Produce fast-turn creative assets and lo-fi content to support testing, iteration, and always-on campaigns
  • Stay closely attuned to digital design trends, creator aesthetics, and platform-native visual styles
  • Collaborate with copywriters, motion designers, strategists, and performance teams throughout the creative process
  • Iterate on work based on feedback quickly and constructively
  • Support senior creatives on larger campaign builds and integrated projects

Candidate Profile

  • 2–3 years’ experience in an art direction, design, or visual creative role, ideally within an agency or digital-first environment

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating digital campaign work across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of visual fundamentals including composition, typography, colour, and layout
  • Clear understanding of how content differs across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Awareness of internet culture, visual trends, and emerging digital aesthetics
  • Comfortable producing both brand-led and performance-driven creative
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro as a minimum)
  • Experience with fast-turn editing tools such as CapCut or similar is advantageous
  • Collaborative, open to feedback, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
