Marketing Coordinator - Leading Events/Conference Venue!

An exciting opportunity to join the team at one of London's most popular conference and exhibition venues, playing host to hundreds of conferences and exhibitions every year – who have recently achieved B Corp status!

Opened over 30 years ago they have become leaders in their field becoming the UK’s first integrated trade, exhibition and conference complex, attracting in excess of nine hundred thousand visitors every year.

Due to growth, they are seeking an ambitious marketing coordinator to support on the development and delivery of the company marketing and branding strategy. Working directly alongside the head of marketing, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone relatively new into their digital marketing career to develop and progress in a company.

Based in their London offices.

The role offers an extremely supportive and vibrant culture with the option to work 1 day a week remotely. They invest heavily in their staff and are recognised as gold standard investors in people.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the marketing initiatives – including campaigns, events, digital and traditional marketing activities, PR and any other action deemed required.
  • Maintain the website with events, residents, projects images and other relevant information required over the course of the year.
  • Managing of social media channels to develop their online community, improving reputation and recognition.
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management. Create, proofread, and edit copy ensuring consistent voice.

Skills and attributes required:

  • Experience in marketing – Ideally B2B focused, events would be a bonus!
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms
  • A motivated and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
