The client: Global Corporate Advisor
This global team of industry experts are sought after advisors for a roster of top global investors, FTSE 100 and blue-chip businesses and respected legal firms.  Recognised with numerous industry awards and accolades, the team have been growing market share while guiding their clients through complex event driven and special situations.  This could be shoring up a client’s cyber security in today’s world of ever developing online risk, providing insights and intelligence to guide the c-suite management on their corporate strategy, finding the hidden details to make or break the investment cases of global mergers, buyouts and transactions, or reacting to highly sensitive crisis situations and helping clients resolve complex litigations.

The role: New Business Director
To support strategic growth plans there are new opportunities for relationship driven New Business Directors.  These roles are not segregated and separate marketing / lead generation roles.  They are end to end relationship management and new business and will suit proactive individuals with a record of pitching ‘in the room’ from advisory / consultancy environments.  Experience of working in a ‘front office’ team in PE firms, banks, law firms, investor relations, professional advisors and corporate environments would be valuable as you will be developing and managing relationships, as well as pitching with sophisticated investors and corporate decision makers. 
The team take a very collegiate approach to business development.  New hires will work with the SLT to plan targets before working with their in-house industry experts and forming the best team to pitch.   You will then own the relationships and manage their continued success introducing additional services, organically growing the account with projects and retaining business.
This is a supportive environment with sensible and realistic expectations on timescales to learn about their business, develop strategies and win new clients for their highly respected team of corporate advisors.
