We have partnered with a well-renowned Higher education provider to support them in finding an Insight Executive to join their growing marketing team.

Working within their Insight team and collaborating with the wider Marketing & Comms function, the Insight Executive will support the management of course portfolios through actionable and accurate insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting insights and communicating to colleagues to inform portfolio and course development across all undergraduate, postgraduate, continuing professional development and apprenticeship courses.
  • Undertake competitor analyses and benchmarking to support annual review of course pricing and entry requirement strategies
  • Produce visual PowerPoint and written market analysis reports using sector trends, student demand data (including HESA and UCAS) and competitor benchmarking to identify new course propositions and inform the course approval process
  • Work with Marketing & Communications colleagues to provide course level insight to inform marketing campaign activities
  • Deliver data and insights to inform regular portfolio reviews with the aim of developing and maintaining a competitive course portfolio

Key Requirements

  • Experience working within a similar insight/research/analytical role
  • Experience within the Higher Education sector or other education experience
  • Evidence of report writing to summarise findings from large data sets
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Understanding of research tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills, including use of Excel, with a data driven approach to decision making
  • Ability to communicate complex data and insight to a wide variety of stakeholders
