PR Account Executive (Analyst) - Financial Services

  • Salary: £30k-£35k

Job Description: The Media Analyst plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of client strategies and campaigns, serving as a key contact for media relations. Collaborating closely with consultants, this role focuses on executing media opportunities and overseeing research and account administration. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively within a team, and provide direction when needed is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful execution of communication campaigns on a daily basis.

  • Cultivate a network of journalists and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Implement marketing initiatives to drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage account administration tasks such as agendas, action notes, and media coverage reports.

  • Conduct research for client projects and new business pitches, utilizing tools like Meltwater.

  • Draft press releases, op-eds, social media content, and other materials.

  • Pitch press releases and story ideas to journalists via phone or email across various media platforms.

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries from journalists.

  • Coordinate interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients' spokespeople.

  • Monitor media coverage and provide reports to the team and clients.

  • Attend client events and industry conferences.

  • Maintain up-to-date stakeholder lists for various projects.

  • Contribute ideas and report results during client calls and meetings.

  • Assist in the training program for interns and new team members.

  • Stay informed about digital and social media trends and contribute to integrating them into company offerings.

  • Consistently deliver high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Possess strong writing and copy-editing skills, capable of synthesizing complex information into impactful content.
