PR: Account Executive/Senior Account Executive
The Company:
A collegiate independent Consumer Lifestyle agency with stunning offices is looking to hire an Account Executive and Senior Account Executive to join their team. Renowned for its vibrant and dynamic personality, the agency has partnered with prominent brands, including leading hotel chains, luxury resorts, global toys & games providers, as well is illustrious food brands.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including leading brands in various sectors. Wellbeing is high on the agenda, and they have access to a beautiful Japanese garden to regenerate in at lunch time.
They are the chosen UK consumer PR agency for one of the world’s largest communication companies. They deliver traditional, digital, and social media relations, consumer engagement, creative comms strategies, news story creation, campaign, brand & partnership building, sponsorships, and crisis & rep management.
Role Overview:
Salary: £22,000 - £32,000 depending on level and experience
Hybrid: 3 days on site - London
A typical day could include:
- Craft compelling press releases, news stories, articles, and product pieces.
- Pitch press releases and feature ideas to national, regional, and trade journalists across print, broadcast, and online platforms.
- Facilitate interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients' spokespeople.
- Monitor media coverage, compile evaluation reports, and deliver analytics reports on social media performance.
- Develop engaging multimedia content for clients' social media accounts and handle community management.
- Brainstorm innovative PR campaign ideas and contribute to the agency's creative process.
Ideal candidate:
- 1-3 year’s consumer lifestyle PR experience within an agency environment – specific travel or hotel PR experience is highly desirable.
- Impeccable writing skills – both long and short form are required
- Proven media relations – both creation of media strategy and selling in skills.
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas persuasively.
- Resilience and adaptability to handle tight deadlines, criticism, and rejection.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
