PR: B2B Tech - Senior Account Manager

 

We’re working with a highly respected communications agency that’s looking for a talented Senior Account Manager to join its growing B2B Tech team.

The Role

  • Senior Account Manager - B2B Tech 
  • Location: Hybrid - 3 days in the London office per week
  • Salary: Up to £50k dependant on experience 

As Senior Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of B2B and technology-focused clients, leading day-to-day communications activity and helping deliver strategic PR campaigns across multiple channels.

You’ll work closely with clients, media contacts, and internal teams to keep campaigns moving, spot opportunities, and ensure consistently high-quality delivery.

This is a hybrid role, combining office and home working.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day management of client accounts
  • Building and delivering proactive media relations campaigns
  • Developing strong relationships with journalists and industry contacts
  • Supporting integrated campaigns across PR, content, social, and digital channels
  • Writing a range of content including press releases, thought leadership pieces, commentary, case studies, and award entries
  • Identifying reactive opportunities and news trends relevant to clients
  • Monitoring campaign performance and sharing insights and recommendations
  • Spotting opportunities to grow client relationships and expand activity
  • Supporting new business proposals and pitch preparation
  • Helping mentor and support junior team members
  • Keeping projects organised and running smoothly across multiple accounts

About You

  • Experience working in a PR agency environment, ideally at Senior Account Manager level or as a strong Account Manager ready for the next step
  • Background in B2B and/or technology communications
  • Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing quality coverage
  • Confident managing client relationships and multiple projects
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
  • Naturally organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Curious about business, technology, media, and current affairs
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
