About the Role
A leading strategic communications consultancy is seeking a Senior Account Director or Associate Director to join its Corporate Communications team. This senior-level position is ideal for a communications professional with a proven record of delivering high-impact, insight-led client engagements across complex sectors. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong leadership skills, with experience contributing to business growth.

Candidates should ideally have experience working across technology and either financial services or infrastructure sector clients.

An interest or experience  in working on Big Tech and Tech Policy is a big plus for this role 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex, integrated communication campaigns, including issues, crisis, and reputational management.

  • Provide high-level strategic counsel on corporate positioning, messaging, and stakeholder engagement to clients across multiple sectors.

  • Play an active role in the firm’s growth strategy by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Support business development through pitch participation and proposal development.

  • Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with senior clients, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing partnership opportunities.

  • Represent the consultancy at relevant industry events and conferences.

  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level team members to foster high performance and professional growth.

Experience & Skills

  • 7-8 + years’ experience in corporate communications & public relations, in Tech and either financial services or infrastructure., with at least 4 years in a senior client-facing or leadership role.

  • Demonstrable success in leading strategic communications programmes for major brands or organisations.

  • Strong project management skills and experience handling complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Proven track record of contributing to new business and client development.

  • Agency or consultancy experience is essential 

  • Excellent client management and interpersonal skills.

  • Outstanding writing and editorial ability, with the capability to distil complex ideas into clear, engaging communications.

  • Strategic mindset, commercial awareness, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Well-established media relationships.
