NEW PR Senior Account Executive Role – Healthcare

Salary: Up to c.£30-35k. Will depend on level & experience. 

Location: Central London, hybrid working

Our Client is an independent PR and content agency based in London, specializing in technology, health, and science communications. They work with a diverse range of global and emerging brands. 

They're now seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive with strong healthcare communications skills, excellent writing and analytical abilities, and a passion for contributing to the agency's growth and client success.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in healthcare communications, preferably within a consultancy environment, but in-house or related roles are also considered.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, strong collaboration and team communication abilities, and expertise in creating and developing effective materials and presentations.
  • A keen interest in the healthcare sector, including pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter drugs.
  • Motivation to thrive in a dynamic, growing, and opportunistic environment.
  • Ability to think outside the box and deliver tangible value against client objectives.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships within client organizations, including PR and marketing teams and key spokespeople.
  • Ambition to help grow the practice with new clients, new initiatives, and award-worthy work.
  • Crisis and issues management experience is desirable but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for managing client programs by creating content, handling day-to-day media relations, conducting data analysis, performing market research, and preparing measurement and reporting.

  • You will develop strategies to counter competitor behaviour and participate in business pitches.

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships within client organizations, including PR and marketing teams, key spokespeople, and other primary members, is crucial.

  • The role requires excellent writing and material development skills and the ability to foster teamwork and motivation among colleagues.

  • Additionally, you will contribute to the agency's growth through new ideas and initiatives, working on diverse campaigns ranging from internal communications to media relations, events, and content development.
