Social Media Manager

We are working with a much-loved hospitality and entertainment brand, based in Hertfordshire. With over 1700 employees, and more than 60 sites across the UK, they're the market leader by some distance in their sector, offering a day/evening that people of all ages can enjoy. They have just had a record year with an annual turnover of over £120m.

They've got some huge growth plans, with new sites on the horizon and a new product roll out planned – So it’s a very exciting to join their growing and dynamic marketing team!

Their success is due to the relationships they have with their customers. That’s why they are on the lookout for an ambitious and driven Social Media Manager to join the team and drive forward the brand and engagement with customers.

Based in their Hemel Hempstead offices with a hybrid structure.



  • Title: Social Media Manager
  • Salary: up to c.£40k depending on level and experience + Benefits
  • Hybrid Working: The team are all super collaborative and are in the office 4 days a week
  • Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2

The Role:

Working with the wider brand and campaigns marketing team and external social media agency, you will be responsible for ownership of the companies social media strategy (across owned, earned and paid channels) and calendar, reinforcing their brand name and driving forward growth and engagement.

Channels include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube

The role is newly created in the team, so you can really make your mark! You will be responsible for feeding into the strategy, researching trends and insight, managing social campaigns and tracking key KPI’s and ROI.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent proficiency of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • 3+ years of Social Media Marketing experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience in managing external agencies
  • Strong time and project management experience/skills
  • Experience of creating social media content, both written and visual
  • Knowledge/experience of social Tools & Scheduling platforms


  • CIM Professional Certificate level or Degree Level education or undertaking professional development programme towards chartered marketer status
  • Knowledge or qualifications in content creation/editing
  • Experience working in the Leisure industry
  • Paid Social Advertising
