B2B Tech PR: Junior Account Manager / Account Manager / Senior Account Manager
- Hybrid, London (1 day a week in office)
- £35,000 – £50,000
An Account Manager role at a boutique B2B technology agency where everyone who has joined has gone on to be promoted.
The client: B2B Technology Communications Agency
A small London agency bringing together PR, thought leadership, social and growth marketing for ambitious B2B technology companies. The client list runs across quantum computing, satellites, AI, fintech, payments, financial crime technology and data infrastructure. Complex businesses doing genuinely interesting things, spanning the UK, Europe and US.
The founder came from a serious background before setting the agency up: comms on a major university aerospace research programme, five years leading marketing and comms at a VC-backed tech company, and a spell as VP of Marketing at a global technology business.
They're also building the agency around AI — using it not to work faster, but to produce better, higher-quality output — and they want people who are excited to build that alongside them.
They promote on merit rather than time served. The whole team are genuinely into tech and PR, which makes for better work and a better place to be. It's a boutique environment, so it moves quickly and people are trusted with real ownership early.
The role: Account Manager
You'd be the main point of contact for a portfolio of B2B technology accounts, with an emphasis on deep tech — companies building complex products for enterprise buyers. You'd own strategic communications planning, the day-to-day client relationships, and the quality of everything the team ships, with content planning and execution at the centre of it.
Day to day, that means running key accounts and making sure deliverables land, leading weekly and bi-weekly client calls, and managing a Senior Account Executive. You'd own media relations end to end — list building, pitch drafting and outreach, generating ideas for tier-one and broadcast coverage — alongside building comms plans and activation calendars, producing campaign plans, tracking KPIs and quarterly reporting, and managing awards and speaker submissions.
The role will need agency experience on B2B tech clients, strong media relations with journalist contacts you can point to, and the ability to turn complex technical and commercial information into editorial-quality content. They want someone organised and process-driven, a starter-finisher who closes things out, and confident on client calls. Wider marketing exposure is helpful, as is being up for working somewhere embracing AI and helping shape how it's used.
