About the role

  • Manage the day-to-day running of multiple client accounts, ensuring quality delivery and strong relationships.
  • Translate complex sector and policy developments into clear, actionable advice and messaging.
  • Lead proactive and reactive media engagement.
  • Draft high-quality materials, including briefing notes, message frameworks, comms plans and performance reports.
  • Contribute to pitches and proposals, helping the team win and grow new mandates.

About you

  • Agency background in strategic communications, public affairs or corporate reputation, ideally with exposure to energy, climate or sustainability
  • Confident operator who can manage senior stakeholders, set pace on accounts and coach juniors to deliver
  • Strong writer who can translate technical or policy heavy topics into simple, compelling narratives
  • Media smart with evidence of building journalist relationships and landing coverage on complex briefs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable switching between themes and clients, enjoys winning work and growing accounts
