The client: Gaming & Esports Communications Agency
A leading London agency, working across the whole gaming landscape — publishers, global consumer brands, esports orgs, hardware and streaming platforms. The work spans everything from game launches and international tournaments to hardware briefs and creator-led campaigns.
Services span PR, events and awards, analytics, talent profiling, media training and crisis, so there's exposure well beyond the day-to-day press office. It's fast-paced but supportive, with real responsibility given early and genuinely strong progression for people who want it.
The role: Account Executive
You'd be working across a portfolio of gaming and esports accounts, spanning games publishing and global consumer brands, with both consumer and B2B briefs in the mix.
Day to day, you'd be running press office activity and supporting global announcements, writing pitches, releases, case studies and features, and building relationships with writers, reviewers and creators. You'd support campaign planning and media relations end to end — pitching stories, setting up interviews, supporting shoots and events, tracking coverage — plus producing social content and keeping reporting on top of things. There's live event and tournament work in the mix, with travel that comes with it.
You'll need close to a year in consumer or corporate PR. It doesn't have to be games — but a genuine interest in video games and esports matters.
