NEW PR Senior Account Executive Role | Food & Drink

My client, a global PR agency with a passion for food and drink, are looking for a new Senior Account Executive to join them! They are a team of enthusiasts who know how to craft stories that stick—blending smart strategy, bold ideas, and a deep understanding of what makes culture tick.

With over a decade of experience partnering with some of the most influential names in the business, they lead the way in multi-channel communications.

The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a leading role in helping bring bold, creative campaigns to life. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of delivering integrated earned media and influencer work for some of the most exciting names in the food & drink space.

You’ll take the reins on day-to-day campaign delivery—managing projects, nurturing key relationships, and even leading full accounts. There’s real room to own your work here, with the support of senior team members and the freedom to grow your leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling media materials including press releases, media alerts, and commentary.
  • Lead on day-to-day media pitching confidently selling in stories and securing quality coverage.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Run projects and manage accounts with confidence, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate assets and timelines, managing internal and external communications.
  • Own elements of campaign planning, delivery, and reporting, with increasing autonomy.
  • Draft press materials, briefing documents, thought leadership, social copy, and more.
  • Ensure all written work is accurate, engaging, and aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Brief and support interns or Account Executives.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to deliver results.
  • Contribute ideas and research for proposals and pitches.
  • Be a visible, positive team presence and actively contribute to the agency’s culture.
