PR: Account Executive/Senior Account Executive
The Company:
An esteemed Consumer Lifestyle agency with over 40 years of history is seeking ambitious Account Execs/Senior Account Execs to join their team. Renowned for its vibrant and dynamic personality, the agency has partnered with prominent brands such as Monopoly, Schwarzkopf, and Speedo, among others. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including leading brands in various sectors such as hospitality, FMCG, and lifestyle.
They are the chosen UK consumer PR agency for one of the world’s largest communication companies. They deliver traditional, digital, and social media relations, consumer engagement, creative comms strategies, news story creation, campaign, brand & partnership building, sponsorships, and crisis & rep management.
Role Overview:
(Salary £25,000 - £30,000)
(2/3 days on site - London)
You will work closely with an account director across four/five different accounts.
A typical day could include:
- Craft compelling press releases, news stories, articles, and product pieces.
- Pitch press releases and feature ideas to national, regional, and trade journalists across print, broadcast, and online platforms.
- Facilitate interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients' spokespeople.
- Monitor media coverage, compile evaluation reports, and deliver analytics reports on social media performance.
- Develop engaging multimedia content for clients' social media accounts and handle community management.
- Brainstorm innovative PR campaign ideas and contribute to the agency's creative process.
You should be:
- Exceptional English language proficiency with strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate ideas persuasively.
- Resilience and adaptability to handle tight deadlines, criticism, and rejection.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
