PR: Account Executive/Senior Account Executive - Financial Services

Financial Services PR: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

  • Hybrid, London (2–3 days on site)
  • £30,000 - £40,000

An excellent opportunity to build a career in financial services communications at a top-ranked global agency.

The client: Global Financial Services Agency

This is a world-leading integrated marketing and communications consultancy working exclusively in financial services. They have grown into one of the largest specialist FS agencies globally, with offices in the UK and US and a client base spanning banking, fintech, insurance, mortgages, wealth management and private equity.

The work runs across PR, social, creative and content, with a mission to uncomplicate finance — from creative advertising campaigns through to raising the profile of fintech disruptors. They've been recognised among the industry's best places to work, and their proprietary learning programme means every team member, at any level, gets continuous upskilling. The culture is entrepreneurial and relentlessly curious, and the business has grown consistently year on year.

The role: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

You'd support the execution of integrated campaigns with an emphasis on earned media, building your confidence as a media operator while developing ideas for content across print, digital and social.

Day to day, that means media monitoring, list building, trend spotting and media outreach, developing pitches and contributing to sell-ins, alongside research, brainstorming and preparing client documents such as agendas, meeting reports, monthly reporting and proposals. You'd work closely with account managers and leaders to understand the strategy behind the work and how your tasks fit the bigger picture, and you'd work toward becoming a genuine expert on your clients' businesses. At SAE level, there's scope to take on more ownership across accounts and support more junior colleagues.

The role will need previous PR or marketing communications experience, ideally with B2B clients — financial services experience is a bonus rather than a requirement at this level. They're looking for strong research and analytical skills, a good understanding of content formats and channels like LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram, the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, and genuine ownership over your work.

Benefits:

  • Up to £40,000 depending on level and experience
  • Performance bonus
  • Private medical
  • Pension
  • Bespoke learning and upskilling programme
  • Enhanced holiday package
  • Work-from-anywhere flexibility
  • Hybrid — 2–3 days on site
