Tech & Startup PR: Senior Consultant — Fully Remote

A senior, hands-on role leading work for some of the most ambitious clients at a fast-growing communications agency in the early-stage technology ecosystem.
This is a small, high-performing remote team supporting startups, scale-ups and investment firms across AI, fintech, deep tech and enterprise software. They help founders and investors build awareness, earn credibility and drive growth, the senior people stay close to the work rather than managing from a distance.
As a Senior Consultant you'll be the senior client lead across your accounts — offering founders and investors the counsel and judgement they need, while staying hands-on with the press office, the editorial angles and the big coverage wins.
You'll lead your accounts as the client needs and the scope demands, with the agency's leadership backing you.
About the role
- Act as the senior client lead across your accounts, advising founders, investors and senior stakeholders with conviction and strong judgement
- Run hard-working press offices and generate consistent coverage, including when there's no hard news, with the editorial sharpness to know what's a story and what isn't
- Own the editorial and media strategy across your accounts — from angle to placement — across national, business and sector press
- Lead campaigns end to end, from creative brief to delivery, built on real business objectives and real media appetite
- Manage junior colleagues and freelancers across your accounts, keeping them effective and profitable
About you
- At least six or seven years' agency experience in tech PR, with meaningful exposure to the early-stage investment and venture ecosystem
- A track record of securing coverage in national, business and sector press
- A strategic thinker who's advised founders, senior leaders and investors, and earned their confidence
- Comfortable running multiple accounts, delegating well and overseeing colleagues and freelancers
- A problem-solver who anticipates what's coming and gets ahead of it, for clients and the agency
- A real interest in technology: AI, fintech, deep tech, enterprise software
